Concrete Retaining Walls
Engineered retaining walls that hold back the hillside.
Overview
A retaining wall that doesn't drain will fail. We build every wall with proper footings, rebar, weep holes, and drainage fabric so hydrostatic pressure has somewhere to go besides the back of your wall.
What's included
- Poured-in-place concrete and CMU block walls
- Engineered footings sized to soil and height
- #4 rebar grid on engineered spacing
- Drain rock, filter fabric, and weep holes
- Smooth, board-form, or stucco-ready finishes
- Stem-wall integration with existing structures
Our process
- 1
Site assessment
We evaluate soil, drainage, and grade change to spec the wall correctly.
- 2
Excavate & footing
Dig to bearing soil, form and pour the footing, set vertical rebar.
- 3
Build the wall
Form and pour the stem, or lay block and grout solid with rebar.
- 4
Drain & backfill
Install drain rock and fabric, then backfill in lifts with compaction.

- Any wall over 4' tall retaining soil requires stamped engineering — we coordinate that for you.
- How long will it last?
- A properly drained concrete wall built to code will outlast the house — 50+ years is typical.
