Concrete Flatwork

Driveways, slabs, and pads finished flat, level, and true.

Overview

Flatwork lives or dies by the sub-base and the finishing crew. Our team screeds, bull-floats, and hand-trowels every pour to strict tolerances so water drains where it should and vehicles roll without a bump.

What's included

  • Driveways, RV pads, and equipment slabs
  • Garage floors with proper slope to drain
  • 4" to 8" thickness engineered to the load
  • Broom, smooth, or salt finishes
  • Expansion joints against structures and hardscape
  • Optional color, hardener, or densifier

Our process

  1. 1

    Design the slab

We size thickness and reinforcement to your vehicle weights, soil, and drainage.

  2. 2

    Prep the pad

Excavate, install base rock, compact, and set screed rails to a laser grade.

  3. 3

    Pour & finish

Place, screed, float, and finish with the texture you chose.

  4. 4

    Joint & cure

Sawcut control joints early, then cure with water or curing compound.

Frequently asked

How thick should my driveway be?
Standard residential is 4", but we recommend 5–6" with rebar for RVs, boats, or heavy trucks.
Can you tie into my existing driveway?
Yes — we saw a clean edge, dowel into the old slab, and match the finish and color as closely as possible.
